As a result, some 1.1 billion people worldwide lack access to water,2.7 billion people rarely find water for at least one month of the year. 2.4 billion people, children are facing diseases, such as cholera and typhoid fever. children, die each year from diarrheal diseases alone.

The consuming of water availability in soils causes major declines in crops and livestock productivity. In addition, surface and groundwater supplies may decline during drought, affecting water availability and increasing costs to access water for crop and watering livestock. In case of drought happening, crops lose one of their majorly needed substances in their food making process (photosynthesis) which leads to losing their strength till dying.
